MA 35 Gallon Automatic Gas & Electric Geyser – MDEGK-35
The MA 35 Gallon Automatic Gas & Electric Geyser (MDEGK-35) is the top model in the 35 gallon range. It runs on gas or electricity, and its dual auto kit controls both automatically, so the water stays at the temperature you set whichever fuel you are using.
How it works
This geyser has a gas burner, an electric heating element and a dual auto kit. The kit gives automatic temperature control in both modes: on gas it regulates the burner, and on electric it switches the element on and off. Use gas when pressure is good and electricity when it is not.
What 8/10 gauge means
The 8/10 in the name is the gauge of the steel sheet used for the water tank. Gauge works in reverse: the lower the number, the thicker the steel. Thicker steel copes better with water pressure and resists rust and leakage for longer, which is what decides how many winters a geyser lasts.
